When working with families you never know what you are going to get… children who love the camera, ones who don’t, children who want to play tag with you, others who want to sit down and pose or play with dirt.  It is so much fun to see different dynamics of a family and what they bring to a shoot.  I love all the different personalities and figuring out how I can adjust to the dynamics to capture amazing photos for each family type.

Being able to really capture a family just “being them” and in their environment is what I strive for.  Working with the Rodriguez family was such a joy. Miss Scarlett was a pure natural with the camera, from smiling to laughing to directing her parents where to go she didn’t skip a beat with her modeling poses! It was so much fun to see the family interact and show the love they have for each other…. and the large spirit that Scarlett has! Don’t you agree?!
